Description:
Tall, square-shaped coffee pot, with a curved spout, round handle and cover with a tall knob. Made in porcelain, designed by Zhang Shouzhi for the Communist Party Leadership. The pot has a design of floral roundels inspired by Dunhuang murals in white on cream. There is a silver line round the cover and fine lines above and below the floral design; with a line on the handle and silver on the end of the spout. Round base glazed with a red seal of the dynastic symbol of authority that stands in front of Tiananmen Square.
