Description:
Baluster teapot with curved spout and handle and domed cover. Made in porcelain, painted in enamels with a river village with buildings, a temple, blossoming trees and five boats moored at the shore. In the middle foreground a man sculls a ferry. Large pale lavender-blue mountains in the distance with two boats approaching. Lower right is an inscription. Decorated with dots, lines and scrolls around the foot, shoulder, collar and cover. Base fully glazed with a round red seal, centre of seal has number 19.
