Description:
Cylindrical teapot with curved spout, two ring attachments on the shoulder for the handles, cover with two oval holes in the centre. Made in porcelain painted in coloured enamels with lakeside scenes, mountains in the distance and a river port (possibly Hukou in Jiangxi or Jiangxi Baizhuang zhou); on one side there is a teahouse and figures and a factory chimney in the distance with boats on the lake. Two horizontal inscriptions above the painting, two vertical lines of inscription and a red seal and two characters on the cover. Base unglazed rim and glazed centre.
