Tea-pot(+ cover). Coat of arms and crest of Skinner. Identical to three bookplates in the Franks collection (27049, 27051, and 27052), “Sable, a chevron or between three griffins’ heads erased argent”; crest, “A griffin’s head erased argent, holding in the beak a hand couped gules”. There is no motto on the service nor on bookplate 27051, but on the other two bookplates it is SINE SANGUINE SECO (punning on the name Skinner and the crest). Made of enamelled porcelain.
