Description:
The triangular section of faded red on this fragment shows that it was once folded and was part of a layered streamer for a valance. The pattern is made by 2-end crossing gauze weave on a 4-end crossing gauze ground, in a repeat of 1 cm in the warp direction and 0.3 cm in the weft direction. Weave structures: Warp: silk, untwisted, single, red, 56 ends/cm; Weft: silk, untwisted, paired or triple, red, 19 lats/cm; Weave structure: complex gauze, ground: 4-end crossing weave; pattern: 2-end crossing weave. 正方形提花通絞羅殘片，織物上有一尖形部位紅色有所褪色，說明殘片此處曾經折疊，應是圍幕垂帶上的一片。織物以二經絞在四經絞地上顯菱格紋，圖案循環爲經向1.0cm，緯向0.3cm。 組織結構： 經線：絲，無撚，單根排列，紅色，56根/cm；緯線：絲，無撚，二至三根排列，紅色，19根/cm；組織：複雜絞羅，地部，四經絞羅；紋部：二經絞羅。
