Description:
Fragment of statue in the shape of a large round medallion, probably once a decorative ornament of a halo. The object has a flower in the centre which is surrounded by a ring of leaves or flames. This inner ring is encircled by a double band which also forms the edge of the medallion. The reverse shows imprints of reeds/organic materials which were used in wall-facing. Made of red clay with a light-coloured slip.
