Description:
Porcelain circular stand with openwork sides, painted in the ‘fahua’ palette. This circular stand with openwork sides was probably made for a baluster vase with ‘fahua’ decoration or possibly for a figure. It has an unglazed foot ring, revealing a porcelain body, and a large hole in the base. Inside it is glazed green and outside dark blue and with turquoise edging in the ‘fahua’ palette.
