Elliptical stamp-seal made of banded chalcedony. The edges are bevelled. The intaglio design shows the bust of a male with his head turned to the right. His features are very fine, with curly hair and a pointed beard. He wears a bead earring and a drapery wound around the narrow collar of his garment.

Features straight and fine. Long pointed beard. Drop ear-ring. Bust draped. Narrow collar, below which drapery wound round shoulders and made heavy double overfall on chest. Fine miniature work of early Persian type. 5/16 x ¼ inch. Pl.V.”
