Description:
Shoe made of quilted woolen felt. The sole and the uppers were both made in two pieces that were then stitched together. The sole is lined with rows of a hemp string and leather patches have been applied to both heel and toe. The edges of the sole were then turned up all around the shoe so that the seam of the junction with the uppers are not exposed to friction from the ground. The felt is decorated with stitching in a scale-like pattern.
