Description:
Seal made of soapstone with ‘British Museum’ in seal script on the base, inscribed, signed and dated in cursive script on one side. The top of the seal carved with a lion with mouth open and claws holding a ball, with a lion cub resting on its back. Together with wooden presentation box with bronze lock and key with red tassel; also inscribed.
