Description:
Ink seal made of the tip of a horn. The design of this seal consists of the depiction of a lotus throne, above which two lines of Tibetan characters were incised. At each side of the inscription is a Svastika, while two scroll ornaments are depicted above the inscription. A hole has been drilled into the object for suspension.

Barnett as onala gnan lha; gnam lha may be translated as ‘disease god’ or ‘fierce god’. Length 2 ½ inch, diam. Of end 9/16 inch. Pl.LI. (Seal impression wrongly placed.)”
