Description:
Ink seal made of the tip of a horn. The design consists of a lotus throne upon which one Svastika and two Tibetan characters have been incised. A hole has been drilled into the object for suspension.

Ink-seal made of tip of horn, bored for suspension; on end are cut a lotus flower outspread, with Svastika and Tib. chars. above. Dr L.D. Barnett reads the latter as the non-Tibetan syllables an(?) –tone, and believes that they possibly represent an attempt to render the Western ‘Anthony’. Length 2 7/16 inch, diam. Of end 9/16 inch. Pl.LI.”
