Seal made of wood. The object has a cubical shape and grooves on one side, the carving of seal-face was begun but not finished. The single (?) Chinese character is illegible.

Comments:Stein, Serindia, pp. 595, 779, 786-8, pl. LIII: “T.XXVII.15. Wooden ink-seal, cubical in shape. Near top are grooves, for string(?), on one side finished, on opposite only begun. On bottom single Chin. char., in ancient form, undetermined. [Mr L.C. Hopkins.] H. 7/8 inch, face 9/16 inch sq. Pl.LIII.
