Description:
Saucer; hard-paste porcelain; the original decoration painted in underglaze-blue with a flower in a circle in the centre and an intermediate and outer band of diaper pattern has been overpainted with gilding; the later decoration consists of a ‘circle of boors carousing’, painted in black over the glaze (after a design of Beham); inside is a wreath of flowers; marked.
