Saucer. Coat of arms of Blackburn impaling Turner. The arms are of Lancashire and Yorkshire. The crest is of Blackburn. The border is decorated with a cell diaper and European leaf scroll. Made of enamelled porcelain.

Comments:Description of coat of arms: “Argent a fess nebulee between three mullets sable” impaling Turner of Kirk Leatham in Yorkshire, “Sable, on a cross argent five millrinds of the field.” The service was possibly made for the Yorkshire branch; from 1724 to 1743 Lancelot Blackburn, who bore this coat, was Archbishop of York.
