Description:
Saucer. Coat of arms of Wilson (Todd?) impaling Diamond. The arms of Wilson of Dallam Tower. This is the second of two Wilson services made with exactly these arms and undoubtedly for the same person. It is possible that this service, although “en grisaille” was the ‘companion’ tea and coffee service to the earlier dinner service. See also a number of captains called Wilson who served in the East India Company. Made of porcelain.
