Description:
Saucer, dish. Coat of arms of Boyd; “Azure a fess chequy argent and gules”, with the Boyd Motto: see inscription; impaling the unusual coat, “Gules a chevron between in chief two cinquefoils and three turtles, one and two, and in base a crescent and a cinquefoil between two crosses pattee fitched all argent”, a coat not recorded. Made of blue underglaze porcelain with the arms of Boyd in the centre and a Fitzhugh border round the edge.
