Description:
A monk’s / lama’s robe (?). Made from twenty-seven rectangular pieces of red/brown twill woven wool cloth, formed into a tube; hand stitched together along selvedges. A strip, 20.5 cms deep, is stitch top and bottom to form a double layer in this part of the robe. Four patches on inside; pink satin silk cloth. Robe damaged, with many holes and stained.
