Comments:Colour indicates Shanxi province. Five clawed dragons suggest high-patronage project. Recent excavations suggest that this was the kiln near Taiyuan which produced mateial for the Chongshansi. Similar tiles can be seen at the Da Beidian also in Taiyuan. Dr Clarence Eng 2009.
