Description:
Plate XXIV: in the centre foreground an ornate three-tiered colonnaded pavilion (the Tay-Ho-Tien), reached by crossing two raised platforms linked by steps (and centrally by two dragon motif carpets); inside, the Emperor Qianlong, seated on a throne, recites the poems Fou-Chou-Roun and Fouki-Et-Choun; on either side stand the Grands of the Empire; musicians present and in the foreground, vases with burning perfume. 1788 Etching and engraving
