Comments:According to Pennington, the lettering “Ly Paulus” is an error, the name should be Xu Guangqi (Hsü Kuang-ch’i). Image copied from Athanasius Kircher’s “China Monumentalis Illustrata”, (Amsterdam, 1667), between pp. 70-71.See New Hollstein (Hollar) 2038-2112 for plates for this book, which contained seventy three plates and a title-page by Hollar.
