Comments:This print refers to a legend in which the Duke of Qin invites feudal lords to gather at Lintong, in central China, during the Spring and Autumn period (770–476 BC). The guests brought treasures and gifted men to demonstrate the power and wealth of their states. Wu Zixu from the state of Chu, impressed all by lifting a heavy bronze tripod. The story became a popular subject for opera and theatre plays.
