Comments:This must be one of the prints published to promote the “Chinese Museum” set up at Hyde Park Corner in 1842 by Nathan Dunn (1782- 1844), an American philanthropist. See also 1872,1012.3955 for another portrait of the same sitters where they were more realistically represented from a photograph.
