Comments:He Sanqing was born in Hunan Province in 1988. He entered the China Academy of Fine Arts in Huangzhou in 2011. He studied his MA in the Printmaking Department under the supervision of the artists Chen Haiyan and Fang Limin. His work ‘Neither Mountain Nor Water’ won 1st prize in the 2018 Muban Educational Trust (MET) woodblock printmaking award. The print draws inspiration from Chinese ink painting and also gives an impression of an etching or aquatint.
