Comments:Two lovers watched by a female attendant are stepping through a moongate into the interior of a bedroom. The blossoming prunus branch reaching over the garden fence shows that it is early spring. Like ‘Cui Hu Stealing the Slipper’ (1928,0323,0.32), the scene on this print was taken from a popular late Ming drama, called All Things Fulfilled (Wanshi zu).
