Description:
Woodblock print on hand produced paper made from the Daphne bush using black ink (lamp soot mixed with water). The centre of the design is made of a lotus, the petals of which are each filled with a mantra. Beyond this are three concentric rings of Tibetan script. All of this is set on a background of flaming fire, in the four corners of which are placed auspicious symbols – lots, sword, thunderbolt and wish-fulfilling gem.

Comments:This type of block print is fixed to doorways or lintels to protect access. This is printed from the same block as 2004. 4-3. 011. but this is a clearer print.
