Comments:Vivacious and healthy children with full, round faces convey the happiness of a large Chinese family. Here, one boy carries a branch with strings of coins and a gold ingot, symbols for wealth. The other holds a plate that seems to contain more precious items to convey good wishes. The character fu in the background expresses the wish for happiness and good fortune. The sumptuous, brocade-like background pattern is characteristic of prints produced in Yangliuqing.
