Description:
‘Famille rose’ plate with a monogram. The plate is painted with a deity riding a sea horse and blowing a horn, emerging from waves beside the entwined initials ‘G H’ surmounted by a coronet. Rays of the sun are appearing on the upper left-hand side, just inside the rim, and are shining on this scene. The rim is painted with festoons of roses.
