Comments:Howard 1974The arms are those of Decker impaling Watkins. The service is copied from one made earlier in 1717 for Sir Matthew Decker. “A Chinese armorial mother-of-pearl card counter in the Dublin Castle Museum is copied from this service.”Howard 1974; p. 187 for two cups and saucers decorated with the same coat of arms in “famille verte” enamels. The earlier Index card identifies this as the Coat of arms of Sir Hans Decker.
