Description:
Plate. The arms are those granted in 1634 to the London family of Duboys ” a lion rampant”; crest a catherine wheel. Charles Dubois was Cashier General of the East India Company. He died in 1740. (Coat of arms of Rebow?). Made of enamelled porcelain. Decorated in Chinese style with flower bouquets and conch shells on the rim, a diaper border round the well. Rouge de fer, gold and Famille verte.
