Description:
Plate. Coat of arms of Wilson (?), “Argent a chevron sable between three mullets gules” is borne by a number of families, of which Willes and Willis are prominent. There are, however, two services made about 1755 and 1765 with the Wilson arms and crescent, but different crest. This may have been an earlier service for the same family. Made at Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province of enamelled porcelain. Badly cracked.
