Coat of arms of Biss (or Bysse) of Somerset and Durham “Sable three escallops in pale argent” impaling Bill (or Byll) of Clymsland in Cornwall, “Azure three griffins’ heads erased argent”; crest “On a mount vert, two serpents interlaced erect and respecting each other or”; the punning motto: see inscription, in a scroll underneath. Made of enamelled porcelain.
