Description:
Decorative plaque made of bronze. The three studs on the reverse side of this small plaque suggest that it was attached to something else, for instance a leather belt. The shape is irregular and the raised decoration depicts a horse and a rider. The horse is at full gallop with the legs stretched while the rider is depicted with the head bent forward and the drapery flying back in the wind. Traces of what might be gilding can still be seen.
