Description:
Round clay medallion. The medallion was part of a bigger statue, probably a decorative ornament of the halo. It has a flower in the centre which is surrounded by a ring of leaves or flames. These are encircled by a double band which also forms the edge of the medallion. The reverse shows imprints of reeds/organic materials which were use in wall-facing.
