Comments:Rawson 1995:At the time of the fourth- to third- century BC burials at Jincun near Luoyang, jades were made in particularly conspicuous forms, exaggerated to highlight their outlines and their craftmanship. This can also be seen in the complex arc-shaped pendants from a tomb in Anhui Changfeng Yanggong, to which this pendant and some of the jades from the tomb of the King of Nan Yue (Canton) can be related. Together these exceptionally elegant jades form one of the most accomplished groups of jade carving of any period.
