Comments:Registration slip: ‘Presented by Dr. W.G.K. Barnes, R.N. 3rd March 1896. China. Small ornament? representing a small human figure standing over the upper half of a barrel or circular basket in which the right hand is inserted. The whole is of brownish pottery: part of the man’s body and the whole of the vessel are glazed. The vessel has no bottom. Made at Yau-ma-ti near Kowloon Peninsula.’
