Comments:The U-shaped piece with two gently tapering straight-sided extensions joined by a convex and rounded crossbar section. This jade has two broad prongs joining it at the wide curved end. Although it is possible that the jade was intended as a nose plug, as yet there is no evidence of the use of such pieces. See Rawson 1995, p 318, cat. no.24.6
