Negative (black and white); The 21 guests whom A. J. Hopkinson hosted for Christmas lunch in 1927. The Khenchung stands on the middle of the stairs in an elaborate brocade garment. Rai Sahib Wangdi is seated on the lowest step, next to Henry Martin, wearing the insignia of ‘Rai Sahib’, a title he had just been awarded. A small dog walks in front of the group.
