Negative (black and white); Two men described by Hopkinson as being a Nepalese trader with his Tibetan servant. This photograph was probably taken in the region of Dochen and it may the lake that can be seen on the left of the image. The Nepalese trader is wearing a woollen scarf and hat and sunglasses. Their pack mules can be seen on the right of the image, loaded with textiles, possibly carpets, to be traded. This photograph was probably taken when Hopkinson was travelling back from Gyantse to Yatung between January 17th – 26th 1927. Tibet. Photographic process
