Comments:The inscription 五子登科 also appears on Chinese coin-shaped charms. It refers to Dou Yujun 窦禹鈞 (also known as Dou Yanshan 竇燕山 , whose name appears in the Thousand Character Classic《三字經》in the lines 竇燕山, 有義方。教五子,名俱揚), whose five sons all passed the imperial civil service exam.
