Description:
Porcelain ‘zhadou’ jar with monochrome yellow glaze. This heavily potted ‘zhadou’ [leys or slops jar] has a squat globular body, a wide flared neck and splayed foot. It is covered inside and out with a well-worn monochrome deep yellow glaze. The base shows an underglaze blue six-character Jiajing reign mark without border.
