Comments:Registration slip: ‘Presented by Dr. W.G.K. Barnes, R.N. 3rd March 1896. China. Small lamp of terracotta the upper parts of which are covered with a green glaze. In shape it resembles a diminutive teapot, the wick passing through the “spout”: it has a vertical handle perforated at the top so that it can be nailed against the wall and a circular lid, with a depression in the centre from which rises a small vertical projection. Made at Yau-ma-ti, near Kowloon Peninsula.’All parts of object: As1896,0319.7.a, b.
