Description:
Ladle. The ladle is composed of a small cup and a long broad thin handle curved into an elongated S-shape. The outside of the cup is fluted. The part of the handle connecting to the cup has a buffalo’s head decoration. The end of the handle has openwork design with a triangular figure in its centre. It is flanked by lance-like patterns. On the bowl pieces of coarsely woven fabric are still extant. The ladle was probably wrapped in fabric when placed in the tomb. Made of bronze.
