Period:Unknown Production date:7thC BC-5thC BC (circa ;?)
Materials:bronze
Technique:tinned
Dimensions:Length: 20 centimetres (max.)
Description:
Knife. Made of bronze. The blade may well be ancient; it shows signs of wear and has a serviceable cutting edge. The decorative terminal is less porous than the blade, which is surprising if it had been cast in one piece, and the tinning on the terminal has a very strange appearance. It has a false patina on it.
