Description:
Porcelain jar with incised decoration beneath a transparent glaze. This ovoid jar has a low wide neck and sloping shoulders which taper in and then out to the foot. Outside it is incised with a five-clawed dragon, prancing on all fours, chasing a flaming pearl among ‘ruyi’ clouds and with a lappet border. The jar is covered inside and out with a transparent glaze similar to that of BM 1945.1016.15, but it has no reign mark.
