Description:
Porcelain jar with underglaze blue decoration. This ‘min yao’ globular jar has a raised neck and recessed base. The design around the belly shows stylized lotus, ‘ruyi’ and other flowers; below is a border of lappets and above a leafy scroll. Around the flat shoulder is a border of ‘ruyi’ heads and key-fret around the neck. There is a gold lacquer repair to the rim.
