Comments:2016 National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage catalogue entries:’This brass bowl and lid were produced in the late Joseon period. The bowl narrows slightly from the middle part to the rim, and has a thick foot. The small knob on the lid was made separately and fixed to the lid with a nail. Both bowl and lid display a reddish yellow color, but the knob is a yellowy-brown, suggesting that it was made with a different material. The item was acquired in 1888, and has been preserved in a good condition.”조선 후기의 유제합이다. 몸체는 안쪽으로 약간 오므라진 형태이며, 구연부는 조금 도톰하게 처리되어 있다. 굽은 약간 두툼한 편이다. 둥그스름한 형태의 뚜껑 중앙에는 작은 꼭지가 달려있는데, 이 꼭지는 별도로 만들어 뚜껑 안쪽에서 못을 박아 연결하였다. 뚜껑과 몸체는 모두 붉은 색이 감도는 누런 빛을 띠고 있는데 꼭지는 노란 갈색조로, 재질이 약간 차이가 있는 것으로 보인다. 뚜껑의 구연도 몸체와 마찬가지로 약간 도톰하게 처리되었는데, 구연부 주위로 얕은 음각선이 돌려져 있다. 1888년에 입수된 유물로서, 비교적 보존 상태가 좋은 조선 후기의 보기 드문 유제합이다.’
