Description:
Porcelain jar with domed lid with a recessed base that forms a foot ring. The jar is made of ‘soft paste’ porcelain (hua shi). There is a scene in underglaze cobalt blue of fishermen and farmers with a buffalo in a landscape with pine trees, a bridge, and a pavilion on the exterior, and similar landscape decoration on the lid, which is topped with a flower-head finial. There is a mark on the base.
