Comments:Harrison-Hall 2001:Ajar of the same size and form but with different decoration of lingzhi and classic scrolls was excavated in 1983 in the Xuande strata at Zhushan, Jingdezhen. Identical to the excavated jar is an example in the National Palace Museum, Taipei. Another jar of this type but with begonia flowers is also in the National Palace Museum, Taipei; this has its original cover with a lotus-bud finial, stepped domed exterior and plug to fit inside the neck.
