Description:
Porcelain jar with underglaze blue decoration. This heavily potted globular jar has a compressed body, raised neck with rolled rim and recessed base. It is decorated with ‘kraak’-type designs of birds with pine, bamboo and tree peonies and around the shoulder with four cartouches showing birds perched in tree-peony branches with a diaper background. It is repaired at the neck with an iron patch.
